Complete a real video shoot over three days to get a hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of shooting well-lit, great-sounding, high-quality video. Learn how to use your camera, light your subject and record clean audio to give your videos a professional look and sound. With practical exercises, learn how to plan shoots for social media content, training and explainer videos, podcasts and interviews, and more.
Over three days, we’ll cover:
- Understanding the settings on your camera
- Shooting video with a phone vs a DSLR
- How to record clear audio
- How to light your subject indoors and outdoors
- Planning your shoot with storyboards, schedules and more
- Practical exercises for practicing your skills
Commitment: Three consecutive 7-hour days (21 hours total)
